So what's been happening this week?
In Doctor Who coverage, we warned you not to go up against Noel Clarke on Twitter (T-shirt on the way), hosted some salutations from David Tennant and looked at a sneak preview of the final episode of Tennant's run in the lead role. Oh and here's an LITG-exclusive cartoon on the finale of Part One.
So what happened in comics then?
In Blackest Night news, issue 6 hit the downloads, which is where we reviewed the comic from, and covered the three figure sums to be made from the Error Rings.
We had exclusive previews of Red Sonja, Crossed, Absolution, Kevin Smith Green Hornet covers, The Twelve: Spearhead, new Beanworld, Victorian Undead, Legendary Talespinners, Wormwood, Fractured Fables, Broken Trinity, Weird Fishes, Return of The Dapper Men, X The Unknown, and Byrne Star Trek
We looked forward to Day Of The Triffids (whcih I was quite fun though shame about Eddie Izzard), March bringing nine Deadpool titles, Disney launching digital comics, and asked if $9.99 was the perfect price point,
We marvelled at Kick Ass getting an early UK release, we looked at the new trailer and laughed at cosplaying comic creators
We watched Burlesque stripping display on at Alan Moore's party with video to follow. We followed comic creators go into politics and fans become Australian basketball captains.
We read part of a new screenplay by Chris Claremont, a novel chapter by Tony Lee, a Dan Slott creator-owned comic Big Max, Chris Giarrusso's Pac-Man-esque game, G-Man.
In other Twitter news we discovered that according to James Robinson;
You all do realize the reason JLA is staying at a higher price it because it will be a 30 page story every month, right?
We do now James. We also enjoyed columns from Warren Ellis, Si Spurrier, and Adi Tantimedh.
And just as Lying In The Gutters was going to press, discovered that the late founder of Angouleme's letters and comic collection was thrown in the street... damn.
Oh go on then, have another cartoon.
