Ho ho ho.

Right that's Christmas festivities done. Bleeding Cool will be posting on Christmas Day will all sorts of goodies to entertain you after the post-roast fug has set in.

So what's been happening on the Cool this week? Well, we.

Saw what was happening with Virgin Comics/Liquid Comics/Epic Cycle announcing a new line of graphic novels and discovered that Eurythmics' Dave Stewart was financially involved.
Heard about the end of Incredible Hercules (volume 1 at least), the return of Wizard's price guide and the survival of Checker Publishing.
Pointed out how Marvel and CBR had printed major Captain America spoilers without warning.
Looked at the Jonathan Ross/Tommy Lee Edwards comic, Turf, and pointed out it was already heading to the movies.
Saw Sherlock Holmes and found it wanting, much preferred the free issue 1 of the Moore/Reppion/Campbell series. We looked at John Watkiss' original art on display that was used to sell the movie - and that it wasn't a graphic novel!
Enjoyed Neal Adams' cover to First Wave, this Archie cartoon, and a Russ Heath cover to Glamourpuss.
Envied the Taiwan government bailing out their comics industry, while South Korea used it for propaganda.
Read a manga preview about Alan Moore as a schoolgirl. Which looks as fantastic as it sounds.
Were freaked out when Warren Ellis became the angel of death,
Sympathised with retailers preparing for the massive shipping week from Marvel looming upon them.
Number crunched X-Factor and cover crunched Justice League.
Found Amazon details for the Earth One titles and had fun mocking the Comics Journal,
Provided some blatant self promotion, a look at Love Buzz and some newsy bits on the future of Being Human and Misfits
Were surprised that one of the heaviest tracking posts on the site was from August, commenting on Avatar's use of the Papyrus font. Very much a long-tail post, that one. A bit like the Na'vi themselves.
Studied legal matters including finding the Wolverine pirate, the sentencing of an armed comic shop robber and following the Dabel/Dynamite situation further
Were slightly sceptical about an upcoming Def Leppard comic
Pined for Snow Daleks.
And read regular columns by Warren Ellis, Si Spurrier, Alex De Campi (plus Twinterview) and Adi Tantimedh of course!
