Syfy Make Summer TV Lineup Shazamable
Shazam for TV will feature programs this summer from Syfy. Shazamable
programs will launch Memorial Day weekend with new shows being added
throughout the coming months. Syfy's "Alphas" launches Monday,
July 11 at 10 p.m. ET and follows a team of people with superpowers,
whose ability comes at a price. Shazaming the show will give fans the
opportunity to engage with even more exciting, super-powered content
from the show. In 2010, Syfy was among the first American television
channels to partner with Shazam, which provided exclusive content from
the network's hit programs "Eureka" and "Warehouse 13" and, in 2011,
"Being Human."
Nelson Ascencio and Kimiko Gelman Join 'Hunger Games'
Two more characters have been cast in Lionsgate's upcoming big-screen
adaptation of Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games. Nelson Ascencio and
