The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D Revs Up
Lionsgate announced that The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D, the next
installment in the long standing franchise, is set to commence
production. John Luessenhop (TAKERS) is in discussions to direct the
film, which is to be produced by Carl Mazzocone. Production is slated
to begin in June, 2011. Mazzocone, who served as President of
Production at Twisted Pictures for four years before returning to
independent producing, pursued the underlying rights to the property and
ultimately secured an overall deal to make up to six future sequels. Nu
Image's Avi Lerner and Mark Burg will be executive producing.
Power Rangers Join Mega Bloks Lineup
Saban Brands teamed up with Mega Bloks to develop construction toys
based on the all-new kids' action series "Power Rangers Samurai."The
Mega Bloks Power Rangers Samurai construction toy sets will include
characters, vehicles and play sets.
S2 Games Launches Free-to-Play Heroes of Newerth Week
In honor of today's one year anniversary of the Heroes of Newerth
(HoN) release, independent game developer S2 Games is launching a
HoNiversary celebration that features an eleven day Free-to-Play (F2P)
session, free goblin coins for all players, item shop changes and a
revamped set of tool tips. The updates are aimed to enhance the gameplay
experience for existing players and make HoN more accessible for new
ones. The HoNiversary celebration runs through Sunday, May 22 at 12 a.m.
EST.
