'Smallville' Ratings Up as Teri Hatcher Guests

Teri Hatcher guest starred on Smallville as Lois Lane's mother (the
actress played Lane herself in the ABC series Lois & Clark) and
Smallville's rating (2.9 million, 1.3 preliminary adults 18-49) leapt
18% in a single bound to nearly win the 8 p.m. hour. That matches the
show's highest rating of the season, though a sports pre-emption in St.
Louis could have boosted the number.

Shrek Films Collected In Box Set

The wait is finally ogre as audiences celebrate the arrival of Shrek
Forever After the final chapter of DreamWorks Animation SKG's legendary
Shrek franchise on Tuesday, December 7th. The beloved green ogre will
go on to live happily ever after as all four films debut together for
the first time ever on dazzling Blu-ray in Shrek: The Whole Story with a
special introductory price as low as $44.99 for a very limited
time—making the box set an ideal and affordable holiday gift for

Denis Leary to Join Spider-Man Reboot

Denis Leary is negotiations to play police captain George Stacy, the
father of Gwen Stacy, played by Emma Stone, in Columbia's new
Spider-Man movie.

'Superman' Lawsuit Delay Lifted

A federal judge has lifted the delay in the long-running Superman
litigation, setting the stage for Warner Bros. to proceed with key
depositions of the families of Man of Steel creators Joe Shuster and
Jerry Siegel.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Sets New Five Day Record

Activision announced that Treyarch's Call of Duty : Black Ops has
shattered theatrical box office, book and video game sales records for
five-day worldwide sell through in dollars. The game established an
all-new five-day worldwide sell-through record of more than $650
million, exceeding Activision's previous five-day worldwide record of
$550 million set by last year's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 ,
according to internal Activision estimates.
