The Battles Rage On in New Downloadable Content for Dragon Age: Origins
and Mass Effect 2
BioWare released new downloadable content for Dragon Age: Origins and
Mass Effect™ 2, throwing gamers back into epic battles with new
stories revolving around key supporting characters in each franchise.
The Dragon Age: Origins DLC pack, "Witch Hunt" ($6.99 on
PlayStation® Network, 560 Microsoft points on the Xbox 360® video game
and entertainment system, 560 BioWare Points on PC) features a story
that reconnects players with one of the series' original
larger-than-life heroes, Morrigan. The Mass Effect 2 DLC pack, "Lair
of the Shadow Broker" (800 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360, 800 BioWare
Points on PC), centers around Liara, a popular character and squadmate
from the original Mass Effect.
Stephen King's Dark Tower Comes To Film and Television
Universal's film and TV divisions are joining forces to adapt Stephen
King's epic fantasy series "The Dark Tower." The companies will produce
three films and a TV shows based on King's seven "Dark Tower" novels,
short stories and comic books. Ron Howard will direct the first film and
first season of the TV show, which will be written by Oscar winner Akiva
Goldsman.
'Dragon' star lands 'Sherlock 2'
Noomi Rapace, the Swedish star of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo," has
booked her first English-language role: the plum part of the female lead
in Warner Bros.'s "Sherlock Holmes 2." The sequel reunites most of the
team from the original: Robert Downey Jr. as Holmes and Jude Law as Dr.
Watson. Guy Ritchie is back as director while Joel Silver, Susan Downey,
Lionel Wigram and Dan Lin return as producers.
