Netflix To Stream Movies and TV Episodes Via the PlayStation 3
Sony and Netflix announced that they are joining forces to make
thousands of movies and TV episodes from Netflix available to be
streamed instantly to TVs via the PlayStation 3. Netflix expects to
begin streaming via the PS3 system next month at no additional cost to
Netflix members in the United States who have a PS3 system.
Babelgum Launches New Exclusive Sci-Fi/Horror Block
Independent web and mobile video content platform Babelgum announced a
new Sci-Fi/Horror block of programming for its expanding Comedy Channel.
Included in the Sci-Fi/Horror Comedy Block is the new series The
Occulterers, an interactive comedy and horror series
written/produced/

'Star Trek' Wins Hollywood Movie Award
J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek" walked off with the Hollywood Movie Award at

determined by online voting at the Yahoo! Movies Web site, where more
than 160,000 votes were cast.
Anthony Hopkins To Play Odin
Anthony Hopkins is in negotiations to play the Norse god Odin in
"Thor," Marvel Studios' adaptation being directed by Kenneth
Branagh.
Men In Black Returns To The Big Screen
Sony is moving forward on "MIB 3," the third pic in its sci-comedy
franchise. "Tropic Thunder" writer Etan Cohen is penning the script,
and Barry Sonnenfeld, who helmed the first two films, is said to be
attached to the new installment, though there is no formal deal or
offer as yet.
