Marvel Reveals New Ultimate Spider-Man
Marvel has announced that after the shocking events of Death of
Spider-Man, the storyline currently running through Ultimate Comics
Spider-Man and Ultimate Comics Avengers Vs Ultimates, there will be a
new Spider-Man and a new character under the mask. Something's happened
to Peter Parker and here comes an all-new Spider-Man...in an all-new
costume.
'Hunger Games' Movie Fleshes Out Cast
Lionsgate has cast more characters in its big-screen adaptation of
Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games novels. The District 11 tributes, Rue
and Thresh, will be played by newcomers Amandla Stenberg and Dayo
Okeniyi, respectively. Newcomer Willow Shields (In Plain Sight) has
landed the role, nicknamed Prim in the books,They join previously cast
District 12 tributes, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh
Hutcherson), along with Katniss' hunting partner Gale (Liam
Hemsworth).
Masi Oka Lands Script Deal at Syfy
Masi Oka, best known as Hiro on the television show "Heroes," is teaming
up with writer Alex Sabeti (Art of Cool) on a pilot script for Syfy. The
Correctors follows two agents of the Exceptions Bureau who, in a
storyline very similar to Masi's Heroes role, are dispatched to a
parallel universe in order to stop events from occurring.
