Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth to Costar in 'Hunger Games'
Lionsgate announced that Josh Hutcherson has been cast in the role of
Peeta Mellark, with Liam Hemsworth joining the film in the role of Gale
Hawthorne in the film adaptation of Suzanne Collins' worldwide smash
hit novel, The Hunger Games.
Will and Jaden Smith Team For M. Night Shyamalan's New Sci-Fi Film
Will and Jaden Smith will team for director M. Night Shyamalan in an
untitled sci-fi adventure.Previously titled "One Thousand AE" the film
is aet 1,000 years into the future, and centers on a young boy who
navigates an abandoned and sometimes scary Earth to save himself and his
estranged father after their ship crashes.
'Family Guy' Gets Comic Book Series
Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products and Titan Comics announced the
U.S. launch of the "Family Guy" comic book series, based on the
award-winning animated TV show from the mind of Seth MacFarlane. The
"Family Guy" comic series will follow the Griffin family in a string
of brand new outrageous storylines, along with fellow Quahog residents
Cleveland Brown, Joe Swanson and everyone's favorite ladies man, Glen
"giggity" Quagmire.
Juan Carlos Fresnadillo To Remake "The Crow"
Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, best known as the director of 28 Weeks Later,
has been tapped to direct Relativity's remake of The Crow. The Crow is
based on a gritty black-and-white indie comic by artist James O'Barr.
Miramax made the film adaptation, which gained cult status partially due
to star Brandon Lee's on-set accidental death.
