Mr. Silver Age teams up with Captain Comics!

Craig "Mr. Silver Age" Shutt -- long-time columnist for Comics Buyer's
Guide, trivia host at Chicago comics conventions and author of Baby
Boomer Comics -- has relocated his online presence to the Captain Comics
Round Table, http://captaincomics.ning.com
<http://captaincomics.ning.com> .

Shutt has made incalculable contributions to comics history and
commentary, not only in Comics Buyer's Guide, but also Wizard, Hogan's
Alley, Comic Book Marketplace, Hero and Comicology. His credits include
creating the Mopee Awards for stories everyone tries to forget,
announced annually in CBG. He has hosted the Silver Age Trivia Challenge
in Chicago every year since 1996, currently appearing at the Chicago
Comic and Entertainment Expo, <http://www.c2e2.com/> but stretching
back to the Chicago Comic-Con and WizardWorld Chicago.

At the Round Table, Shutt joins syndicated newspaper columnist Andrew
"Captain Comics" Smith,

the indefatigable Silver Age expert Commander Adam Benson USN (Ret.),
<http://captaincomics.ning.com/profiles/blog/list?user=2nz3a1es31c37>
modern comics blogger (and pastor) Chris Fluit,
<http://captaincomics.ning.com/profiles/blog/list?user=3e1n0y0q8fqnr>
the Wild Cards discussion group,
<http://captaincomics.ning.com/group/wildcards> comics videos,
<http://captaincomics.ning.com/video/video> press releases,
solicitations, <http://captaincomics.ning.com/group/comicsnews> and --
most importantly -- the Forum discussions
<http://captaincomics.ning.com/forum> of the highly vocal and
opinionated Legion of Superfluous Heroes, the most knowledgeable fans on
the Internet.

Knowledgeable -- and cordial. The first rule of the Round Table is "no
personal attacks." That approach, instituted with the first Captain
Comics site in 1997, has attracted the smartest and nicest fans around.
Along with "Where's the beer?" their rallying cries include "We talk
facts, not smack!" and "Welcome! We're glad you're here!" This
environment is perfect for Mr. Age, whose vast knowledge and puckish
sense of humor has kept the majesty (and silliness) of the Silver Age
alive for new generations. He continues that tradition at the Round
Table with the "Ask Mr. Silver Age" blog
<http://captaincomics.ning.com/profiles/blog/list?user=0rsxl5lfa9qjm>
and a dedicated Mr. Silver Age forum

> .

Come welcome Craig Shutt to the Round Table, and stick around for the
party. As Stan Lee says, "The best is yet to be!"
