It may have raised the ire of Collider. But breaking out the post-credits sequence of Iron Man 2 as well as the reveal it promised for Thor caused a bit of a storm. And a flurry of hits. The video was removed, the screencap wasn't. Bleeding Cool received no instruction to remove it. And plenty of sites too timid to post it themselves linked across…
2. Kevin Smith Voicing Free Comic Book Day Ad
I had this idea a way back. Brendon Connelly took it on and Kevin Smith provided the voice. And then it got tweeted by Jonathan Ross in what may be the first inklings of a makeup between the two, as well as MTV, Wired and Kevin himself. And people seemed to like it too. Now to start thinking about next year's ad. And you know what? I've got an idea.
3. Alan Moore Creating Supergroup
A new Alan Moore CD featuring a Gorillaz-like collection of stars, including Mike Patton. I really should have gone for the Faith No Moore headline shouldn't I?
4. The Comic Book Movie That Actually Did Rather Well Last Week
Okay this was a surprise. Reporting a decent box office for a comic-to-film that had previously been much reported but too many hadn't heard of apparently. Long live Les aventures extraordinaires d'Adèle Blanc-Sec!

I got an email about this one strongly questioning my bias for running prominent negative reviews here and not, say, the Aint It Cool Harry Knowles review. Well first, Godzilla. And secondly I hadn't seen it. And weirdly? The nature of the poor reviews (too much talky not enough explody) make me want to see it more.
