David Chase to Direct His First Feature Film for Paramount
David Chase, the creator and producer of the multi-Emmy and Golden Globe
winning critically acclaimed series The Sopranos, will make his feature
film directing debut for Paramount Vantage with a music-driven coming of
age story set in suburbia in the 60's, it was announced today by
Paramount Picture's Chairman and CEO Brad Grey, and President of
Paramount Film Group Adam Goodman. Chase, who wrote the original script,
will produce alongside Oscar® winning producer Mark Johnson ("Rain
Man," "The Chronicles of Narnia").
"Dracula - Undead Awakening" available for WiiWare and DSiWare
Dracula – Undead Awakening is an addictive top-down shooter. Players
control a grizzled Hunter of the Undead who chooses weapons and
abilities, and then battles legions of undead foes including zombies,
ghouls, werewolves and more. An arsenal of jaw-dropping powerful
weaponry can be unlocked including such as Machine Guns, Buzz-Saws and
Flamethrowers. Players can even earn upgrades for their weaponry and
unique new perks for their character, all while their gruesome enemies
increase in number and ferocity.
Second Season of "Merlin" Makes U.S. Debut on April 2
The second season of the critically acclaimed series Merlin makes its
United States television premiere on Syfy Friday, April 2, at 10PM
(ET/PT), following the spring season premiere of Stargate Universe at
9PM (ET/PT). To give viewers a chance to catch up before the new season
two launch, Syfy will showcase all 13 hours of Merlin's first season in
a full day marathon Sunday, March 28, from 10AM-11PM (ET/PT).
Anime Expo 2010 Announces Japanese animator, TOSHIHIRO KAWAMOTO, as an
Official Guest of Honor
Anime Expo® is excited to announce today that renowned Japanese
animator, Toshihiro Kawamoto, will be an official Guest of Honor at its
July convention. Anime Expo, the United States' largest anime and
manga convention is scheduled for July 1 – 4, 2010, at the Los Angeles
Convention Center. Mr. Kawamoto will take part in autograph sessions,
meet-and-greets and attendee panels.
