HarperCollins Launches Inkpop
HarperCollins Publishers broadens its digital offerings with the launch
of inkpop, the first interactive writing platform for teens backed by a
major U.S. publisher. Inkpop, created by HarperTeen to attract young
readers and writers, combines community publishing, user-generated
content, and social networking to connect rising stars in teen
literature with talent-spotting readers and publishing professionals.
Marvel Invades Turkey
Türk Telekom, Marvel Characters B.V. and Paimotion Entertainment Inc.
are proud to announce a globally unique and comprehensive Licensing
Agreement covering animated shorts, online and PC games, mobile
applications, merchandising and a customized kids Web site deal. The
deal showcases a broad array of Marvel products featuring Marvel Super
Heroes which will be customized and translated into Turkish. Products
include animated shorts, animated TV series distributed on mobile phones
and the internet, casual games, as well as the opening of Marvel
Mini-Stores featuring Marvel merchandise at Türk Telekom's stores and
Web sites.
Call of Duty: World at War: ZOMBIES Lite Version Available From App
Store
Zombies have overrun App Store as Activision and developer Treyarch have
launched a free version of Call of Duty: World at War: ZOMBIES. The Call
of Duty: World at War: ZOMBIES Lite App allows iPhone and iPod touch
players to experience three rounds of the "Nacht der Untoten" (Night of
the Undead) map in single player, explore the map and access a multitude
of weapons from the Mystery Box. Multiplayer fans will be able to play
for two rounds via Wi-Fi, locally or across the Internet with four
players or two players over Bluetooth.
