So what have I been up to this week, as we swing round from two-thousand-
I had a look at Neil Gaiman's Statuesque short film, the Mad Men comic that never was, the 419 Comic Scammer Smackdown and someone who needs a smackdown, the continuing operations of Josh Hoopes and some very funny Family Guy PR.
I brought first news of a bunch of comic strip stamps, the launch of Indian mobile phone comics, the attack on a Danish cartoonist, the death of Barry Blair and the death of Tibet to the wider comics community .
I celebrated a week without Diamond distributed comics - and those that filled the void.
I demonstrated how comic book price inflation was out of control.
I looked at new stuff - new website Stolen Comic - for the reporting of stolen comics, to warn the community, Jimmy Palmiotti's new NSFW blog and new comic strip Dustin.
We enjoyed Jim Lee and co. in the snow, looked at some gorgeous Beanworld and found comic book people getting honours from the Queen.
Then there were the Dan Dare figures and designs by Chris Weston as well as his and Tommy Lee Edwards motion comics for The Book Of Eli.
We looked at the Spider-Man 2010 design in partial completion and how Blackest Night might have gone with Alan Davis in charge.
Then ran the Tenth Annual Rumour Awards in a slightly-easier-
The big post of the week was probably Five For 2010 which outlined a few thinks to look forward to, including the Vinnie Jones/Howard Chaykin TV show/comic Noble and a Lucasfilm/DC Comics crossover via Dark Horse. And a upcoming DC exclusive land grab from Marvel caused quite a commotion.
Doctor Who took up probably a few too many posts, with the Series Five trailer, and a dissected screencapped trailer and, well, there's just something about the new fellow.
