Award Winning Eye WItness Graphic Novels Collected
This November, just in time for the holiday shopping season, Head Press
Publishing will release a limited edition slipcase collection of the
award-winning Eye Witness graphic novel series. This will offer many
fans of comics and graphic novels their first exposure to all four books
in this highly acclaimed indy series, since publicity surrounding it has
grown with each subsequent release and many fans came on board a few
years after the 2004 premier of the first book in the series.
'Superman' Lawsuit Delayed by Appeal
This week a major battle was supposed to be waged in the war over the
future of Superman. Instead of a heated courtroom showdown, the judge
overseeing the case has delayed the matter as lawyers for Warner Bros.
and the heirs of Superman co-creators Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel await
an appeal of a procedural ruling.
'Stretch Armstrong' May Move to 2013
Toy giant Hasbro and Universal Pictures could move "Stretch Armstrong,"
starring Taylor Lautner, from 2012 into 2013, Hasbro CEO president and
CEO Brian Goldner said Monday.He made the comment in a conference call
with analysts following the company's third-quarter earnings report,
citing the competition already heating up in 2012.
Christopher Lloyd To Appear On 'Fringe'
The iconic comic star of movies and TV shows, who became famous on
"Taxi" and went on to appear in features such as "Back to the
Future" and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?," will make a guest appearance on
the Fox sci-fi series "Fringe," reports TV Guide. Christopher Lloyd, who
won two of his three Emmys playing Jim on the hit comedy "Taxi" in
the early 1980s, will play Walter's (John Noble) music hero, someone
whom Walter has always idolized.
Syfy Greenlights 'Battlestar' Prequel
Syfy is moving ahead with "Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome," a
series it ordered months ago that was initially intended to run online,
as a pilot for a possible television series about the youthful
adventures of William Adama,
