Simon Pegg Eyes Return For 'M:I-4'

Simon Pegg is being brought back into the Impossible Missions Force
fold. The actor is in negotiations to reprise his character of lab geek
Benji Dunn for Paramount's "Mission: Impossible 4," which is being
directed by Brad Bird.

Starz Casts 'Spartacus' Prequel

A labor drama playing out behind closed doors could lead to an Aug. 1
strike by thousands of transportation workers, which could shut down
most television and film productions in Los Angeles and possibly
elsewhere.

EA Reveals Darkspore

Electronic Arts announced its next project: Darkspore, an online,
science-fiction action role-playing game, is currently in development
for a February 2011 launch. Darkspore is rich in action and fiction, and
is being written and developed by some of the most talented minds in the
video game industry. "Darkspore is inspired in part by the
award-winning creature editor tech of Spore, but also in large part from
the team's own passion for gaming and prior experience," said Lucy
Bradshaw, General Manager of Maxis Studio. "The team has combined
these inspirations to produce a unique take on the action RPG genre."

The Original 'Bionic Woman' Comes To DVD

Fans can finally experience one of television's most memorable
television series when "The Bionic Woman" Season One debuts on DVD on
October 19, 2010 from Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Relive the
excitement of this groundbreaking television series starring Primetime
Emmy Award winner Lindsay Wagner as Jaime Sommers, a woman leading the
ultimate double-life. Never-before-released on DVD in North America,
this four-disc set includes every episode from the show's premiere
season plus five crossover episodes from "The Six Million Dollar Man,"
and a Bionic Beginnings featurette, which tracks evolution of
television's first Bionic Woman and includes an all-new, exclusive
interview with Lindsay Wagner.

Avatar: The Last Airbender Series Gets Sequel

Nickelodeon, the number one producer of television animation in the
world, has greenlit a new series from the creators of the hit animated
TV show Avatar: The Last Airbender, it was announced today by Brown
Johnson, President, Animation, Nickelodeon and MTVN Kids and Family
Group. The new series The Legend of Korra (working title), from creators
Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, will premiere on Nickelodeon in
2011, continuing the evolution of the animated franchise and its
mythology.

Graphic.ly First to Bring Comics to Every Digital Platform

Graphic.ly, the new digital media platform for comic books and
communities of fans, today announced at Comic-Con that it now offers the
first comic app available on smartphones, tablets, PCs and desktop,
another signal event in the transformation of comics to a digital medium
that is more accessible by a wider audience and promises to bring new
talent and content to the medium as well.

Boom Comics Co-Founder Develops Content for Tablet Computers

Luminous Books LLC, a newly formed company which will be delivering
highly curated, rich-media content and periodicals to the tablet PC
market, today announced that Andrew Cosby will be one of the first
writer/producers to collaborate with the company on original content.
The company chose to announce the collaboration prior to this year's
Comic-Con convention, because of Cosby's highly successful work as the
co-creator of Boom Comics and the Eureka Television series on the Syfy
Channel.
