Michael Rosenbaum will reprise his role as "Smallville" villain Lex
Luthor for the show's two-hour finale in May.
"I'm delighted to return for the series finale," Rosenbaum said.
"I'm simply doing it for all of the fans out there who made
'Smallville' the great success it is. I appreciate all of their passion,
their relentlessness, and even their threats. Ha ha.".
Joanne Siegel, Widow of Superman Co-Creator Jerry Siegel, Dies at 93
Joanne Siegel, the widow of Superman co-creator Jerry Siegel who also
served as the model for Superman's love interest Lois Lane, died Monday
at age 93.
Michelle Pfeiffer in Talks to Reteam With Tim Burton for 'Dark Shadows
Michelle Pfeiffer is in negotiations to reteam with Tim Burton for Dark
Shadows, Warner Bros' big-screen take on the 1960s gothic vampire TV
soap opera starring Johnny Depp. The two originally worked together in
"Batman Returns" where Pfeiffer personified Burton's version of
Catwoman.
Want To Watch "The Dark Knight"? There's An App For That
Time Warner's Warner Bros. is looking to garner online movie sales on
Apple devices in 35 countries, including in 23 that don't offer them
through iTunes. This marks the first time that movies are available on
Apple mobile devices outside of the firm's iTunes Store. The studio is
starting with two Christopher Nolan-directed blockbusters. Warner Bros.
on Wednesday is launching so-called "app editions" of Inception and The
Dark Knight.
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa May Fix Broadway Train Wreck
Producers of the troubled Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark
are looking to revise the script and have asked Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa,
a playwright who has written Spider-Man stories for Marvel Comics, if he
would be willing and available to help with the script revision.
H.R. Pufinstuf Heads To DVD
To mark the 40th anniversary of H. R. Pufnstuf, Vivendi Entertainment is
releasing the entire Saturday morning series on DVD. H.R. Pufnstuf: The
Complete Series will be released April 12 in both a regular three-disc
set and a special collector's edition, which comes with an exclusive
H.R. Pufnstuf bobblehead.
