Electronic Arts Enlists Award Winning Composer Ramin Djawadi to Score
Medal of Honor
Electronic Arts announced that composer Ramin Djawadi is creating a
deep, emotional score for the modern combat first-person shooter, Medal
of Honor™. Known for his work on the Iron Man movie, the "Prison
Break" television series and the remake of Clash of the Titans, Ramin
Djawadi is bringing his unique style to the soundtrack for EA's
intense, action-packed modern warfare game taking place in war-torn
Afghanistan. The Medal of Honor original game score is now available for
online purchase at select digital service providers.
Paul Haggis In Talks To Revive "The Equalizer'
Paul Haggis and Russell Crowe may be working together on a new project:
"The Equalizer." Crowe has long been attached as a star and producer
of the feature adaptation of the late-'80s TV series, and Haggis, who
just directed Crowe in the upcoming Lionsgate thriller "Days," is
negotiating to take on the script. While the direction of the feature
version is still being plotted, the original CBS series concerned the
exploits of a former secret agent turned vigilante who could be hired to
right wrongs.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid Giant Helium Balloon to Debut in the 2010 Macy's
Thanksgiving Day Parade
Get ready for Jeff Kinney's Wimpy Kid as you've never seen him
before! Amulet Books, an imprint of ABRAMS, and Macy's announce the
2010 debut of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid balloon in the 84th annual
Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Stepping off on Thursday, November 25,
2010, the Macy's Parade is broadcast nationally on NBC-TV, from 9 A.M.
to 12 P.M., in all time zones. In 3-D for the first time, Wimpy Kid is
one of two new giant character helium balloons that will debut in the
legendary Parade lineup this year, joining 13 other helium giants. The
Parade is part of a series of initiatives celebrating the release of the
fifth book in the series, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth, which is
on sale Tuesday, November 9, 2010, with a first printing of 5 million
copies.
'Ghost Rider 2' Goes to Hell to Find its Villain
Ciaran Hinds is in negotiations to rev up Columbia's "Ghost Rider:
Spirit of Vengeance." Italian actress-singer Violante Placido also in
talks to join the cast. The movie, featuring Nicolas Cage as the
demonic biker anti-hero based on the Marvel comic, is a sequel to the
2007 movie and has Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor behind the cameras.
